Happy Sunday

I've been working on the grandmothers flower garden/tile floor from Mark Lipinski's blog (what happened to him anyhow?? He hasn't posted anything new since July 18th) It's coming along. Not sure how I'm going to finish the outside edge. Have decided however that I don't like the way the red extends so I'm thinking of adding a straight white border all the way around.

Just finishing up "Loads of Love". One of my kustom kids kwilts with a dump truck. Kinda stuck on the borders and background so I came up with this new stippling pattern (new to me) and a different kind of CC for the inner border. I may have to do this again. Pretty cool for a boys quilt without doing the usual leaves or
other kind of fill.

I hope everyone has a great week.

Oh I love that new CC ! And what sweet colors you used in the borders. As for the GFG, I see what you mean about the red and I think a white border (maybe white on white or textured creamy white) would be great! How's that for a run-on sentence??

LOL! GMTA, Sharon...I just popped in to your blog for the first time in a few weeks, and see this stipple. I "doodle" stipple patterns and quilting patterns at work while sitting in court, and this is one I've been doodling. One day I was all proud of myself for coming up with a feather pattern filler that was really cool, and wouldn't ya know...after I thought I was being so original, I saw it on a Marilyn Badger quilt. These days it's harder and harder to come up with anything that hasn't been done before by someone, somewhere.
